I stayed there for Memorial weekend 2014. We stayed in the Buck Area group site. Overall it was a great trip; we got home safe. We drove from San Gabriel Valley in Los Angeles. There are tons of snakes there. What I like best about this spot is that me and my family can be as loud as we want. The bad thing is the bogus citation that I received 5 days after I got home. I explained to the ranger that I doused the smoldering ashes from fire night before. She claimed to have pics to prove that I left fire on, but will not show them to me until I show up to court to fight ticket. What's more unfair is I have to drive 250 miles AND take a day off work to fight this ticket. The campground was pretty empty for being a holiday weekend, if the campground treats its patrons like this. I know what a serious drought we are in and any ember could start a fire. This is why I dumped an 80-gallon ice chest into ashes. But I guarantee I will never spend another dollar in town of Sanger other than the $375 ticket...smh. Thanks, Ranger for ruining a pretty safe weekend.
We stayed here in a Tent.
