| Very quiet park right by the Guadalupe River | |
By the River is an excellent park to stay in if you're looking for a quiet place to crash for the night after a day of touring the sights nearby. It's very peaceful here, with hardly any road noise. It's also right by the Guadalupe River, and the views are really pretty. As for the amenities and the facilities, they're all clean and kept in good order. I just didn't like having to climb up a hill to get to the office, the washrooms and the laundry. The pool is also located there, so it's a bit of a hassle. In addition, unless you have a premium site, you may have to squeeze your rig into a narrow spot. Otherwise, we had a pleasant enough stay and we may return.
