Well, since you mentioned that it's been a year since you got your old tent out, I guess the questions here are (1) how bad is the leak and (2) how often do you see yourself tent camping in the near future? If the leak isn't really that bad and you don't really plan on tent camping quite often, then having it patched up and taking care on where you store it would be a good and practical option for you. But if you're going to be doing more tent camping from here on, I'd go with everyone else's suggestion here and just get a new tent. |
