| Great campground, well layed out | Huge national park campground but subdivided well so you don't really feel like you in a crowd. Probably the best feature is the trails accessed right from the grounds with many options for different lengths and difficulty of hike.We stayed at the "walk in sites", so called because the parking is 50 or so feet from the site. Restrooms with running water and flush toilets. Each site has a picnic table and fire pit. There is a small well stocked store. No showers. A shuttle runs from Gatlinburg so possible to visit without a car.

| Not the prettiest of sites but well located for exploring the north park | Tent sites are on raised platforms with gravel pads. Doesn't feel very natural but probably good in the rain. Site is fairly close to a road meaning some noise in the morning. Mammoth Hot Springs hotel is a few mins drive away and there are showers available there on pay-per-use. Facilities as with any good national park site... flush toilets, water, picnic table, fire pit

| Nice location near Yellowstone Lake | But not super close to some of the big attractions in the park (may be a benefit for some). Elk wandered around the campground at night and the campground is just a few steps from the edge of the lake. Decent facilities although the garbage bins smelled really bad and attracted a lot of flies, so try and get a site away from them.

| Great campground centrally located | Good facilities - restrooms, showers, picnic tables, laundry and very close to everything in Bryce. Spacious sites and separate tent / RV areas.

| Good option if the NP sites are full or on your way in/out of the park | Otherwise not a destination in itself. The campsites were decent but there was no separation of RV and tents so we had the noise of generators to deal with all night. Pit/porta-potty toilets and outdoor washstands - fine if the weather's good but wouldn't have been great on a cool or wet night. Shame that it's more expensive than in the national park with poorer facilities. Make sure to go for lunch/dinner (or just pick up a pie!) at Jacob Lake Inn.

| Great facilities, a bit of a drive from the center of the park | Good facilities at the campground. Restrooms with flush toilets and each site has a picnic table. The only drawback is that it is a 40 min drive from the south rim area, although the benefit of that is escaping the bulk of the crowds. Still a busy location though so not a spot for peace and quiet. There is a store near the campground selling basic food and hot drinks and the nearest lookout point is a great place to watch the sunset over the canyon.

Right in the middle of the park and 196 feet below sea level, we were there in June and it was 80F when we went to bed... a great opportunity to sleep without the raincover on the tent and view the stars from your bag! Facilities are good, decent restrooms, drinking water, picnic tables. Unsurprisingly only a few sites have even the slightest bit of shade so worth getting there early to bag one. Only reason for dropping one star is that the land around it is sparse, but that goes with the territory.

The campground is aptly named as there's a lookout point which has amazing sunset views over the park. It's fairly high up so gets cold at night (below freezing in June). Good facilities, each site has a picnic bench and fire pit and there are lots of bear boxes to put food and toiletries in.

| Great views and good facilities | In a desert area surrounded by Joshua Trees and brush you can see for miles from the campground. Sites have a lot of space, each has a picnic table and fire pit. Restrooms were well maintained.
