Great place for getting away

Lake Cahuilla is a beautiful place, excellent for getting away from your day-to-day routine every once in a while. The views from the lakeside are truly lovely, and it's very quiet here as well. The sites are all large and roomy and have their own firepits and picnic tables. Not all sites have sewer hookups, but there is a dump station you can use. The place doesn't have cable TV and you have to walk near the host's place to get the wi-fi. The wi-fi signal is good, though. If you want to relax, you can just go boating on the lake. If not, you can explore the area around the lake. There are a lot of good restaurants and shops nearby and it's also close to downtown.

We stayed here in a Travel Trailer.

Great value for your money

The fee is pretty cheap at $11/night but we definitely got more than our money's worth. The sites are large and roomy, and each has its own firepit and picnic table. The lakefront sites offer awesome views. You can rent a kayak or a paddle boat at the lake. There's no cable TV and internet at the site, but if you walk to the canopy at one end of the park, you can get a wi-fi signal from the host's router. It's really quiet and relaxing here, and if you want to go shopping or eat out, there are many choices nearby. The only thing that bothered us is the site had no sewer, but they do have a dump station that's convenient to use.

We stayed here in a Travel Trailer.
