| Great family camping in east Tennessee | |
The setting is beautiful. The campsites are spacious. The bathrooms are clean, practical, and well maintained. The lake is wonderful. A great, great family campground in a somewhat cooler elevation. The camp hosts were congenial and helpful. The camp store was well stocked. The access to the Cherohala Skyway and Bald River Falls is fantastic. The only negative is the lack of water (and sewer if your rig is fully self-contained) at individual campsites.
