| Crowded sites, but accessible | |
Great area for us in a 5th wheel. Heard no noise after dark. Very close to everything, especially our families who lived within 1-2 miles. Looks like driving into the bad part of town, but cross the RR tracks and everything changes. Loved staying here.

We have stayed here for three months in our 5th wheel toyhauler. We loved it here. Nice and helpful workers. Huge swimming pool. 2 hot tubs. Beaches nearby, like Treasure Island Beach, Madeira Beach, St Pete Beach and others.
They have full hookups. Lots of activities on the weekends, especially for kids. Ice cream socials. We stayed June 1, 2014 through September 6, 2014. Not sure of all their activities but I heard bingo, dancing, and swimming aerobics and other things.
Some sites are on the bayou. Walking and biking trail nearby.

This park was awful from the moment we pulled in. We got a site "on the water," which proved to be a paved area with a picnic table, and a small opening in the mangroves to view the bayou. The sites are TINY with zero privacy. The entire park looked like a truck stop for RVs. The park is right next to a slum, and the noise from that area was unpleasant. The quiet hours in the park were not at all observed or enforced, even after complaining to the security guard about it. Sleeping was impossible in a tent, and when the noise hadn't died down by 1:30am, we broke camp to continue our vacation elsewhere. The pool was nice and the bathrooms were clean, but these two attributes did not make up for the rest. The staff, however, did refund our stay when we called to check out the next morning and requested a refund. Don't stay here if you are tent camping - we will not go back.
We stayed here in a Tent. | | Comments (0) |

The park was nice and clean but a little to in the city for me.
We stayed here in a Class A Motorhome. | | Comments (0) |
