a little on the ruff side

Seems a little on the hobo side of occupants. Hate to be so blunt, but looked like the newest rigs in here were 1980 models.....nothing wrong with older units....if properly maintained, and well, many of these just were not, and unfortunately looked like they were in for the long term..park grounds were tidy enough but the neighbors could use some hygiene....maybe ok for an overnight or two, but we actually decided NOT to stay here

We stayed here in a Class A Motorhome.

Good as a base for visiting Austin

I wouldn't recommend Midtown for long stays because there isn't really a lot to do within the grounds and the setting is too urban to call it a getaway. It has a good location, though, close to most Austin attractions, so we consider it a good base for touring the city. It has full hookup sites, but no cable TV. Midtown is located near the airport and close by a major road, so there may be problems with noise. It didn't bother us, though. There are a lot of long-term residents but they seemed friendly.
We stayed here in a Travel Trailer.
