| Great location, but crowded | |
Nehalem is a big, gorgeous place in a great location. As such, everyone and their brother will be there, too. The four-star rating is pretty much for location and eye appeal. The sites, however, are very small and very close together, with a wide variety of to the amount of tree cover. The sites are particularly cramped on the short sides of the loops. Bathroom maintenance isn’t what it should be for the insane amount of traffic this campground gets. The junior ranger program here is great summer fun. Also, it is quite a tiresome trek over the dunes to the beach, but amazing once you are done panting and get to the other side. Despite the crowds, I will definitely go back.
We stayed here in a Tent. | | Comments (0) |
