Tried the Mission Trail, and it's really worth it (partly because I'm a bit of a history buff). Really great. Yup. October is one of the best time to go here. The weather's cool enough to do all that biking down the trail.

I agree with everyone else here. October is a good time to go to San Antonio. There are days that it can get quite chilly both in the morning and in the evening so best make sure that you bring something warm to wear while you're camping here just in case.
