If you are looking for the best tent then 3 season tent is By far the most popular choice of tents, 3-season tents are lightweight shelters designed for the relatively temperate conditions of spring, summer and fall.

I can't vouch for the tents they recommend though since I don't own any of those.

I can't answer properly w/o knowing what kind of camping you do and with whom -- car-camping? how many people? how many seasons?
For the two of us car-camping, warm weather, we like the Paha Que tent. It's possible to stand in it, and in foul weather it allows the set-up of table and chairs, stove etc.
