| Decent place right by the interstate | The campground is right on the interstate, behind a gas station. The grounds are nice enough, but traffic was very loud. Bathrooms nice, but sign on door said restrooms closed from 9pm to 9am (what?!) At least they never did lock them the night we were there. After 5 in September, we had to write our cc info on a paper and put it in a slot to pay - never saw anyone working there. Had to put tent on concrete pad to be level. Decent, but wouldn't plan to stay here again. Cost was $22.25 (and was correctly charged to cc).

| Located in the middle of small town, run down bathhouse | This was okay, but we didn't care for camping off an alley of a neighborhood right in town. We didn't feel very safe. Owner was very friendly. Needed code for bathhouse, which had 2 sinks, both of which barely dribbled water. Showers at least worked fine. Wouldn't deliberately camp here again.

We weren't interested in the extra activities, just wanted a nice place to spend the evening/night. The tent section nearest the bathrooms only had 1 level site, which we took (being the only tenters in September.) Bathrooms/showers were nice and clean. Fun little playground for the kids to stretch their legs. Cost us $25.30 for 3 in a tent

| Nice sites, nice views, pleasant atmosphere | Except for the price (being a KOA), this was a great campground. Bathrooms were clean; showers were individual, spacious rooms accessible from the outside only. Tent area was spacious, located beyond the RV section of the campground. It has great views of Devil's Tower. Cost for 3 of us in a tent was $42.28

| Friendly, pleasant campground | Now called Dakota Sunsets. Cost was $24.26 total. We stayed in September, so there were no other tents. The campground had nice, level, grassy sites, bathrooms were fine, owners were pleasant. There was also a fun playground that my kids loved. Only downside was the highway noise, but at least it wasn't the interstate. Would surely stay here again.

| Pretty environment, decent accommodations | Camped in September, the host was helpful and generous. Big, nice area with pleasant sites. Bathrooms oldish, but have all you need. $22 per night

| Beautiful, nice campground with good view of dunes | No showers, bathrooms fine. BYO soap. Our site (#21) had an awesome view of the mountains and sand dunes! Expect evening storms and plenty of sand in your gear! Morning is the best for the dunes - cooler and better chance of nice weather. Early enough and barefoot works best, but by noon in late September (earlier in summer), the sand is too hot. Tent site was nice and level, very pleasant-feeling campground.

| Wonderful place, great sites, lots to do | FYI: If from out of state, you have to pay $11 daily to enter, or get an annual WI state park pass for $38).
We had a double site for our group. Camper and tent on both sides, with 3 vehicles. It was very spacious and shady, and felt secluded. Quiet nights. Bathrooms were very nice, 2 showers with a bench outside, 2 sinks with nice counter space, 3 toilets.
Great big campground. Good for riding bikes around and taking short hikes. Pretty lake with cliff edges. Nice dock with rental options, fun beach area with green tiny lily pad plants that aren't too bad. There are picnic tables in the shade above the beach.

Beautiful location. Sites are nicely spaced. Must make reservation. In July I was lucky to get a site 3 weeks in advance, and only 1 night was available. Nearest showers are a drive back to Estes Park (for $6 each in the laundromat) Nice, pea-gravel tent pads & parking areas.Ours had enough room for a second tent behind the van. But the firepit was almost touching the edge of our tent on the pad, so that wouldn't have been an option. Some pit toilets, some bathrooms with water (nothing fancy, basic NP camp bathrooms) They supposedly had a place to shower if you brought your own shower bag, but that bathroom was closed when we were there so I couldn't see it).

| Nice, quiet, uncrowded campground | Our family camped here while on a road trip in mid July 2019 (price for tent was 27.82 with tax). There were surprisingly few people camping in tents; It seemed like only a handful of others were there mainly just for fishing. The RV area was mostly hidden from our view which is nice for us so, not sure how that was. Nice, soft, grassy spaces, quiet campground. The host made us feel welcome and safe. There's a very clean pool and acceptable bathrooms. Never had seen a Mulberry tree before and was surprised to see Blackberries on a tree! Would gladly return here if passing through again.
