Gerstle Campground - 30 sites
Woodside Campground- 79 sites

Hiker/Biker sites
-10 sites are available for campers on foot or bicycles. These sites are first come, first served basis and located behind the ranger office near Woodside Campground.

OVERFLOW CAMPING
A day use parking lot located below Gerstle Campground is available for self-contained vehicles only. No tent camping or open fires are allowed. No restroom facilities or drinking water are available.

Warren Group Tent Camp can accommodate 40 campers/10 vehicles. Fee is $200/night.

We stayed in the Overflow area at $28.00. I agree with the previous reviewer that although it is beautiful, this campground is significantly overpriced. Overflow equals sloped parking lot but has better views than the campground. No facilities at all in overflow.

We stayed here in a Class B Motorhome.

Pricey for a dry camping place

For the hiking and the views it offers, Salt Point is a beautiful state park. I give it that. But for $35 a night, I can easily get a full hookup site elsewhere. Here, it's dry camping and the gravel spot on the campsite is not even level. Sure, the place is clean, and it does have restrooms and a dump station. But still... I don't think the price was worth what I got for my stay here.

We stayed here in a Class B Motorhome.
