Punxsutawney Phil (of the Groundhog Day fame) predicted another six weeks of winter and boy has it been a cold hard one! Tired of shoveling snow? Looking for a place where there is a magic combination of sun and surf? Well, pack a bag, throw in some sunscreen, roll up your beach towel and join us where the Spring lows rarely drop below 60 and you and your RV are less than a short drive from the ocean. Here are our top picks of campground and RV parks for sun soakers.

  1. Bella Terra of Gulf Shores, Foley, AL - One of the top rated RV resorts in the country, prepare to be pampered and entertained. Enjoy the sunshine whilst swimming in the infinity edge pool, fishing in the 9-acre fully-stocked lake, or just lounging round the Jacuzzis with friends. Sun, soak and de-stress.
  2. Palm Harbor RV Park, Rockport, TX - they don't call it Redfish Bay for nothing. With 100 sites located on the bay, drop a line for the best redfish fishing on the coast of Texas.
