Hi there,
November is a time to give thanks for all of the wonderful gifts we have. We've come up with some tips to celebrate Thanksgiving the green way and have suggestions on how to use up any leftover turkey so nothing goes to waste.
It is also a time to do things as a family. Did you know that you can get into children's museums at a discounted rate or even free? We tell you how.
It is easy to take what we have for granted, and one of the things that often isn't considered is the time and effort volunteers and rangers put into keeping our State Parks in working order. We share with you what we learned about what is takes to run a state park. We also take knowledge for granted. But as RV how-to extraordinaire Ron Jones explains, we have to be weary about bad information.
The changing colors of the season provide a great photo opportunity. We've come up with a number of great camping destinations to snap those shots. To help you prepare for the coming winter we also show you how to winterize your RV.
Have a fabulous Thanksgiving this year. Sit back, take it all in, and enjoy the gifts that are your family.

No one was hurt, but true to Jones' form he righted the situation and gave the driver a free lesson. Here's what we learned.

Free access to children's museums
It has been said many a time that children are sponges. They will absorb any information you throw their way, quickly. They are eager to learn and are adept at processing information at an alarming rate. So when you take your child on a road trip it's critical that you encourage their curiosity with activities that stimulate their minds. But as any road tripping parent knows, costs add up very quickly, especially with larger families. So how then does a family ensure intellectual development when they're put up against financial strain?
